YOU SHALL NOT RETURN EMPTY
The Word of God is the same yesterday, today and forever (John 1:1; Hebrew 13:8). As the Lord said to Moses, He is saying the same to you today, that, “This new day, you shall not return empty”. It doesn’t matter whether you have walked through the year until now without any proof or evidence of your labour, today, the Lord says, you shall not come back empty. It is God’s season of mercies and great harvest. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him (Psalm 126:6). It shall be unto you like a dream, be rest assured, you shall come back with mouth full of testimonies this day and everything you do shall turn to your testimonies (Luke 21:13).
It does not matter how you have ended the last months, it is a new dawn. The only thing you need doing is to go out again with your precious seed (to plant again), go out with your mended net and launch again unto the deep (you will catch great multitude of fishes), go knock the door again, rise up from your sleep and pursue your dream, you will surely testify. The Word of God will never go to God void until He (the Word) accomplishes want He had been sent. The Word is still standing with you; He is yet to finish with you, not until you accomplish your goals and plans. Go out with faith in your heart, plant your seed again, make the calls, apply for the job, demand to see the head of the organizations where you desire to work, visit their websites (you will be glad you did), ask for that help. God is still in the business of performing miracle. Pray again, speak again and love again, it is going to work for your own good this time.
Beloved, no doubt you will have unprecedented testimonies and pleasant surprises this day, it takes your believe and your action. God told the Israelites in the passage that will read today, by the time you are going out of the land of Egypt; you shall not go out empty. This people had worked for 430 years without receiving salary, but a day came the Word of God came to them and that they will empty their enemies. It was like a dream, the day came in Exodus 12:33-36, according to the Word of the Lord they emptied their enemies and left them desolate. Men may sleep, the prophets may have forgotten their words, but the Word of God spoken and acted upon never sleeps nor slumber, He must accomplish the mission. Do you still remember the story of four lepers at the gate of Samaria? When the Word of God walked with them, their steps became a great noise of chariots and horses. Enemies will hear you and flee, and you will spoil your Egyptians, the Egyptians (problems) that you see yesterday you shall see them no more.
Apply the Word to your feet, make no man your help and never rely on man’s promises but on the Word of God. Like Abraham, we are waiting at the doorstep of each day to hear your testimonies. Trust God again, for it is your day.
Word Affirmation: And GOD will give ME favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when I go, ye shall not go empty - Exodus 3:21 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
