I CAN DO ALL THINGS
TOPIC: I CAN DO ALL THINGS
TEXT: PSALM 82:1-6
I can do all things is said to be a personal statement of the mighty and a powerful one that each and every believer must hold as his/her watchword, for greater exploits and works are the mandates giving to us by the Lord of All. No matter what life presents and whatever you might be passing through, God has endowed you with needed abilities to do the impossible, anything you think you can’t is much more within your reach to accomplish; the only hindrance to the accomplishment of such goal is your thought. Never entertain any fear; pursue, you shall overtake and recover all. Do not entertain the impossible, the only place impossibility exists is in the dictionary of a fool.
Doing the impossible will not come on your own power and abilities, note that you can only achieve your dreams and pursuits by the strength of God. Apostle Paul could do all things through Christ which strengthened him, this was his resolved and the reason why he did great exploits in his days and left legacy behind. Through whom are you performing what you are doing, through your own efforts or evil powers? Jesus said to the Pharisee confirming the word of the Psalmist that you are gods and all of you are sons of the Most High, which means you can do all what God can and can also do more. The greater works Christ want you to do for Him are to look out for the interest of others, to love your neighbour as yourselves and to be upright at all times. If you cannot do anything at all, He wants you to do this: judge justly and never accept the persons of the wicked, defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy and deliver the poor: rid them out of the hand of the wicked and Christ will rise on you – Psalm 82:2-4.
Many people have initiated great ideas and became great in life using the talents God has endowed them with and you might think you have no such ability, there is a good news for you, you can do these little, simple and small things if you can make a resolution today - to defend the poor and deliver the needy. This act will never go unnoticed; God will reward you accordingly and He will defend your cause. If you think you CAN’T add any value, just do the little things mentioned above and I see you over the top. May you have the courage to do the impossible, especially touching the heart of God in spreading the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to the lost, love the fatherless and lift the hands of the feeble. May you find grace to do the impossible now and always, Amen!
Word Affirmation: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." - Psalm 23:4 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, when you light your candles, place it where it can be seeing."
