We live daily working or walking towards our end, it will come one day whether by Christ appearance or by God taking away our spirit from the body. So what will happen when Christ returns? From the scripture we understands that there are some events that will occur at the appearance of Jesus Christ the second time.

(1)The dead will be raised: We must not get the mistaken notion that a long period of time will separate the resurrection of the “dead in Christ” from the resurrection of others. On the contrary, Jesus made it clear that all would be raised at the same time (John 5:28, 29).

(2) The World will be destroyed: (a) Jesus said that His kingdom was “not of this world” (John 18:36). (b) Jesus’ kingdom was established and was in existence in the first century (Matthew 16:18, 19; Colossians 1:13, 14; Revelation 1:5, 6; Hebrews 12:28). (c) The world will be destroyed when Jesus comes again (2 Peter 3:10).

(3) All will be judged: Jesus spoke of a general judgment (Matthew 25:31, 32). Other passages also teach that everyone will someday face God in judgment (Hebrews 9:27). A day has been fixed when the Lord will open His books and judge the world in righteousness—both the living and the dead—according to the deeds done in the body (John 12:48; Acts 17:30, 31; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11–15).
