There has been no time that Elijah the prophet of God believed in himself, he strongly believed in God that sent him that was why he made tremendous impacts in his days and we are also reading about him today. To command the same speed he commanded in his days you must behave the following in addition to the ones earlier mentioned in this series:
6) Have faith in God. There are lot of people who have faith in their strength, abilities and intelligence alone, they believe more in what they can do rather than to rely on God for great exploits in life. Having such energy does not mean you cannot achieve your aim, but it can only give you little achievement. For them to ask for direction from God is difficult and now asking why things are not going the way it should. You are the reason, not God. Therefore, believe in God and thou shall prosper. Combine the faith you have in God with your abilities and you will have space enough to do exploits.
7) Desire the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. This is the dispensation of the Holy Spirit; do you have a relationship with Him? If you do not have, ask for His indwelling today. Peter, Philip, Paul and other Apostles were too much for their generation because they were men who operated by the Spirit of God. Is there a CHECK ENGINE sign on your life’s dashboard? In order not to be grounded, you must check whether you still have oil in your engine. Holy Spirit is the lubricant you need for fast and fulfilling destiny. The wind blows wherever it wants to. You hear it, but you don't know where it is coming from or where it is going. It is the same with everyone who is born from the Spirit." – John 3:8.
8) Above all, you must be born again; he that is born of God is above all. For as many that received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God – John 1:12, 13; 3:16.
