SIX MONTHS CHALLENGE: LIVING IN GOD’S REVELATION
The greatest secret to live in God’s revelation is to always pray the Holy Bible. Few years ago, I needed to see beyond this world and gain access into the Knowledge of God’s Will. I know the physical is subject to the spiritual, I was not satisfied with the earthly information, I want something more, so I decided to pray for what to do. Begin to pray and read books on direction, meditation and the likes.
One day, I got a secret to pray and personalize Ephesians 1:17-21 and 3:14-21 and this I continue to do for many months: open my bible daily to the Book of Ephesians, knelt down and prayed the Scriptures. In those periods and till now, to the glory of God, I gained knowledge and revelation especially when I read my Bible, hardly will I read a verse and there would be no outstanding revelations. Today, I find it not difficult to write on anything, even when I am walking on the street, I still hear God speaking through either voice or images. You too can enjoy the same grace.
Recently, I was driving in my neighbourhood along with two other persons and while we were going, I saw a very big image in the sky looking like the appearance of Jesus Christ, but I did not say anything. So while we were coming back after I have dropped a family friend, I asked the person beside me, did you see something in the sky when we were going? The person said, “I didn’t see anything at all.” I just smiled, looked at the direction again but did not see anything. I stumbled on this secret to live in an open revelation via a book by Kenneth E. Hagin titled, “Believers Authority” there he talked about praying the aforementioned Scriptures for six months. I did not pray the passages for six months, but I think I did for like two months, initially; there was no result but eventually, the result start coming in. I was glad I did.
As I was meditating on what to write, Holy Spirit told me to share this with you. Do you desire to live in open and constant revelation? I encouraged you to pray and personalize Ephesians 1:17-21 and 3:14-21. This is how I prayed mine (Please open your Bible):
Ephesians 1:17-21 - “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto (mention your full name) the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of (mention your full name) understanding being enlightened; that (mention your full name) may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to (mention your full name) who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right Hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.”
Ephesians 3:14-21, “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant (mention your full name), according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in (mention your full name) hearts by faith; that (mention your full name), being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that (mention your full name) might be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that (mention your full name) ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.“
Word Affirmation: He will instruct ME and teach ME in the way which I shalt go: He will guide ME with mine eye - Psalm 32:8 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
“Let this Scriptures be your anchor prayer, even when you have need, keep at it and you will come back to testify to the goodness of God. You will be surprised what you see.”
