ON YOUR MARK?

ON YOUR MARK?

Do not forget that you need to have a change of decision before you can have a change in direction. As you begin a new journey in this New Year, are you on your track? Are you in the right lane allotted to you? If yes, you are ready to start the race; if not, you need to trace your track. In athletics, especially in track events, either in 100metre dash or any other, there is a mark to begin the race. Every athlete must stay on his/her track if s/he does not want to be disqualified from the race, also the type of leg you have determines the type of start method you use. There is a single start for an athlete with short leg, medium start with someone with a not too long leg and elongated start for an athlete with long leg. It is possible to lose a race if as a short man you go for elongated start and vice versa.

Moses has been a great leader respected by all the Israelites, after he had delivered the Israelites from the land of bondage, he had the privileges to direct the people the way he likes but he would never departed his location or lead the people without the presence of the Lord. You may be a great athlete, you have the connection, the experience, and the skills, to carry on in the journey of the New Year, but let me warn you to not go without the presence of God. If you want to make the difference in this New Year, desire the presence of God. You need an assurance of the presence of God, you must begin the journey here to get to your desired destination. The presence of God matters in the matter of life.

The Kingdom of God is not in mere utterance, but it is all about demonstrating divine power, unlike the power of the world where people use influence, money and weapons, a child of God will receive power when he stays in God’s presence. The devil will fight you so hard in order not to have an intimate relationship with God. God's leading, guidance, direction, peace and joy are all in His presence - Psalm 16:11; 73:23-24 and Exodus 33:14. The mark you need to lay your hands and feet on for this year's race is the presence of God. The fire and power of His presence melts away every mountain; every obstacle and hindrance before us, and every satanic plan for our lives (Psalm 97:5; Isaiah 8:10). When you go to the presence of God, every fear, pain, insecurity, burden fades and lifted - Matthew 11:28 and you will be changed, refined and transformed in His presence.

Therefore, to access God’s presence you must come to Jesus today, be baptized in Holy Ghost and be a praise and worship addict; God promised to always be with us but you must refuse to do what will take away His presence from you. Happy New year.

Word Affirmation: “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." - Psalm 16:11 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“You need to have a change of decision before you can have a change in direction."
