I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise and his garments rolled in blood (Isaiah 9:5), a warrior can never come back from the battlefield with a white, clean apparel; his cloth must be soaked in blood, if he indeed went for a battle. Since the time the first man Adam sinned, the world has been in torment, wickedness reigns supreme and evil pervades the heart of men. In the world, all were wish tribulations and fight unnecessary battles. Some people cannot even explain why they go through sad situations, but Jesus said, “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

As you wander about in the wilderness of life, so was the wise men wandering in the wilderness shepherding their flocks. Imagine, wise men who suppose to be in a special place, may be in the palace advising the king or the president shepherding in the desert. That is the world for you. The preacher wondered in his message when a poor wise man delivered a great city by his wisdom yet no man remembered that same poor man. That’s the system of the world (Ecclesiastes 9:14-15). It does not matter if you wander in the wilderness or wonder about life like the preacher, the Angel said, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord”.

It does not matter where you are, the shepherds supposed to be in the place of rest but keeping watch at night; it does not matter your struggle, there is a goodnews in town, a saviour is born. His own noise for battle is never with a confused one, it is joy unspeakable to all people. His cloth never soaked in blood but pour His blood to save mankind. The wise men for the first time were so happy, the Bible says, “And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. I bring you this day good tidings of great joy, for unto us a child is born and unto us a Son is given and government shall be upon His shoulder. You don’t have to know anybody before you get anything from Jesus, all what you need is to know Him and all things are yours, the confusion will fade away, the battle is won already. He said, “I have overcome the world”.

Do you want to overcome the world? Like the shepherd left their flocks to look out for the Saviour, why can’t you too live your struggle to come to Jesus Christ today? The good thing about a good shepherd is, he can leave his ninety-nine sheep to go look out for one the lost one, but these shepherds left all for Jesus. You cannot be in this your state and expect Christ to save you, come to Jesus today, He is the reason for the celebration. Heaven rejoiced at His birth, the Hosts of Heaven joins that of the people of the earth in celebration and declare peace unto you. The battle is won, a Saviour is born and your sins taken away. The only thing you need doing is, give your life to Jesus the Saviour of the world. David was struggling in the wilderness as a young boy, shepherding, but the goodnews located him; yours is here.
