CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN

CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN

How did you celebrate your Christmas, with the Celebrant or without Him? Only God knows the total number of chicken, lamb, goats, etc that were killed to celebrate this Christmas but I hope in your ecstasy you did not kill the Celebrant too. It is not only the birth of Christ that brings about this celebration but also His death and resurrection which gave us life in abundant, victory over our enemy and eternal salvation. Every past adjusted, all future made brighter in Jesus; our Lord Jesus Christ worth celebrating; but He will be happier when you totally embrace His salvation.

Heaven rejoice not because Christ was born alone, but also because He is worthy to open the Book of life, the twenty-four elders set aside their crowns of gold and fell down at His feet, thousands of Angels shouted Hosanna to the Son of David and rejoiced greatly for saving mankind by His blood. If God compare your Christmas with that of Heaven, how will you fair? Without the death of Christ there can never be Christmas, the Angels in their thousand shouted with great rejoicing worthy is the Lamb that was slain…(Revelation 5:12). Beloved, Christ efforts must not be in vain over your life; the greatest gift you can give to Jesus in your Christmas is your soul. Will you?

Apostle John was in the Spirit to observe the universal joy and thanksgiving that filled heaven and earth upon this transaction. And, indeed, it is just matter of joy to the entire world to see that God does not deal with men in a way of absolute power and strict justice, but in a way of grace and mercy through the Redeemer. He governs the world, not merely as a Creator and Lawgiver, but as our God and Saviour. The song of praise offered up to the Lamb on this occasion consists of three parts, one part sung by the church, another by the church and the angels, the third by every creature.

All the Hosts of heaven lead up the chorus and John observed, (1) the object of their worship - the Lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ. (2) their posture: They fell down before Christ, gave Him not an inferior sort of worship, but the most profound adoration. You will be a concern to Heaven if you organized concert during this Christmas without Christ. Your worship must be pure. (3) the instruments used in their adorations - harps and vials; the harps were the instruments of praise, the vials were full of incense, signifies the prayers of the saints: prayer and praise should always go together. (4) The matter of their song: it was suited to the new state of the church, the gospel-state introduced by the Son of God.

Every ransomed slave is not immediately preferred to honour; he thinks it a great favour to be restored to liberty. But when the elect of God were made slaves by sin and Satan, in every nation of the world, Christ not only purchased their liberty for them, but the highest honour and preferment, made them kings and priests, to rule over their own spirits, and to overcome the world, and the evil one.

Word Affirmation: “And we shall reign on the earth." - Rev 5:10 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“The greatest gift you can give to Jesus in your Christmas is your soul."
