GOD WINS ALL THE TIME

The birth of Jesus the Christ was foretold many centuries ago before He was eventually given birth to; Prophet Isaiah foretold His birth in Chapters 7 and 9 of the Book of Isaiah. What manner of Man He would be and His purpose on earth which is to save His people from their sins. Striking prophesy about the birth of Jesus is in Micah 5 verse 2, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratha, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Where Jesus would be born was foretold but how come there was no room for Him in the inn? Why was He born in a manger?

The salvation of man was planned right from the beginning of the world (see Genesis 3:15), God knew He is sending His only Begotten Son to the world to be born in Bethlehem. As the Almighty, He supposed to have made not just a room, but a mansion for Jesus since He was aware and rules the affairs of men; provision supposed to have been made. Why would God allow His Son to be born in the manger? I guess, that’s how the children of God think today. If I am a child of God, why do I have to suffer and bear this burden? Is God not aware about my condition? Taking a proper look at the birth of Christ, you will realize that Jesus did not escape the process of making a champion. If God can take His only Begotten Son through that process, who are you not to pass through yours. Sometimes, God hide us in what seems a problem to preserve our destinies. He knows the best for our lives.

Jesus would be born in a location, Heaven was aware yet there was no room for Him. Sometimes too, we expect God to make a way for us where there seems to be no way, but on getting there, the road doesn’t even like there is any. You now begin to wonder if you are truly serving a living God. You have prayed, fasted and holy, yet nothing is forthcoming. Beloved, God is a Sovereign God and He does what He likes, the way He want it. He said, “…My Thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My Ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My Ways higher than your ways, and My Thoughts than your thoughts – Isaiah 55:8-9. Therefore, God sees all that you are going through and He will come to your rescue at His own time and at this time, He makes all things beautiful. Never relent in prayers, in services to Him and humanity and do not stop worshipping and praising Him. Above all, have His fear. Where you are born does not matter, the most important thing is fulfilling purpose; God will use that your background to take you to higher ground.

None of those who have rooms in Bethlehem at this time received gifts or have their stars shone in the sky, even before the census was conducted, Herod the king already knew about Jesus, He was the first citizen to be counted though born in the manger. Beloved, yield all to God and expect His miracles. The only thing you need doing is to check whether you are in His Will. For surely, He will give you a name above every other name around you and in your family, and He will set His Crown of glory upon if only you understand His Will and Purpose. Never stop trusting Him, He will not fail. He wins all the time.
