DO NOT HANDOVER TO NEGATIVITY

DO NOT HANDOVER TO NEGATIVITY

All the people that were troubled in the Bible did not have any experience to build on, the events in their lives just happened. Job was not aware about the conversation between God and Satan, the Israelites did not do anything wrong yet they found themselves in bondage. Abraham did not know that God was testing him, Jacob did not know that Joseph was still alive, he mourned for him many years over. Job exclaimed, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble” – Job 14:1. You know because you have the Word of God with you today.

Life is full of ups and downs and there comes a point in man’s life that he hit ground zero, a time you check whether what you believe is genuine or not, a time when you check knowledge received whether you have been scammed. At this time, you look left, right and wanting to give up. You are not alone; everybody does come to this level at one point or the other in his/her lifetime. Here, you will need to be very careful not to handover your life’s gear to minus one (-1); progressive life is like plus one (+1) to plus ten (+10) in Mathematics while retrogressive life is like minus one (-1) to minus ten (-10). At some point in life, it is possible that one hit ground zero, but never changed your gear to minus one. It is very easy to move plus one to plus two, but it is very difficult to move from minus one to zero, and from minus one to minus two is like a free fall which can result to death, destructions and difficulties, that’s why I warn you not to yield your life to hopelessness, to negative thoughts.

Whenever you find yourself on the other side of life, never cross from ground zero to minus one, it is called basement; for it is difficult to climb from negativity to positivity, you need extra effort. Do not release your life to hopelessness, you are not alone. Environment and circumstance may not be at your favour in the present, but that doesn’t mean it will last forever. Adam lost everything, he was sent out of the Garden of Eden, but he did not because of that killed himself, rather he moved on with life and gave birth to the world. Job lost everything, he did not died, though everything around him died; he never handed over his life to negativity, he did not attempt suicide. He had a reason to live.

Therefore, what can happen to you that will make you to think that all is lost and there is no hope anymore? When there’s life, there is hope. There is always hope for a tree. If it is cut down, it can grow again. It will keep sending out new branches. Its roots might grow old in the ground and its stump die in the dirt, but with water, it will grow again. It will grow branches like a new plant – Job 14:7-9. As long as you are connected to life through God you will flourish. You have great story to tell, you may not know. The world will still read and hear about you, if only you do not faint. There is hope for you and for the world through you.

Word Affirmation: “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon." – Psalm 92:12 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“As long as you are connected to life through God you will flourish."
