FEAR COMETH BY HEARING (1)
If faith comes by hearing, so also fear. The world has lost great numbers of possibility to that average enemy called, fear. Fear is so small that if a giant or strong man is not careful; his power will be diffused instantly. Fear has ruined many lives because of what they see or hear. What is that you expose to? Romans 10:17 says, “faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the Word of God.” What are the things that you listen to? Where is the source of your information? Is it from God or the devil? How do you interpret what you see or hear depend on the result you will get. Apostle Peter bid to go to Jesus but when fear came through the storm, he changed focus and began to sink. What you focus on will determine what faces you. It does not matter whether you are a child of God or not, it is all about principle and God will never change it. He told Abraham, as far as you can see. If you see small, you become small, if you become small, you beget small. You will give birth to your kind.
Through God, Moses gave instructions to the twelve spies to go and look at the Promised Land. Remember, it is the Land flowing with milk and honey, also have it in mind that the people Moses sent on behalf of God are covenanted children of God, but they have evil eyes and brought back bad reports about the land to the people who had listening challenge. God warned Peter not to call what he had cleaned, common; this really hindered the international ministry of this great Apostle. His mission was given to another man, if it is in our days, Peter and Paul will be competing and multitudes will rush to Paul because of his exploits. How did it happen, Peter missed what he supposed to see because of his vision (Acts 10:9-17). All the ten spies that gave evil reports and the people that listened to them perished in the wilderness; they never entered the Land of Promise.
What holds you back from reaching your goals, doing exploits and living in endless possibilities may be fear or lack of active faith in what you believe. It is not a matter of but I believe in God, I have faith; God always look at the heart, our hearts are the battlegrounds for the devil and God. What you conceive will soon become your conviction, what you hear will lead to what you bear. The name you are calling is due to what you give name to in your inside. The news all over the world is all about pandemic, depression, recession, suicide, job loss and poverty, etc which has created fear even in the mind of believers, many have thrown away the Word of God, they no longer believe. They are not sure of what will happen next, but a real child of God should know what will happen next and know how to turn evil reports to good news. What happens around you is NOT your concern, your concern should be what you want to become. The conclusion you reach in your heart will determine what will come to you. Heaven will not stop the image you have formed in your heart; God has no power over your imagination. Nothing can be restrained from you as far as you have imagined doing it – Genesis 11:6.
Do you want to get your lot in life, never entertain any fear to take that step? Be strong and courageous. Speak and act what you want and not the situation around you. You are a mighty (wo)man of valour. Go, go, go forward. Never look back, nothing can stop you. Have a fruitful day!
