CAN YOU STILL RECOLLECT?

Can you still recollect your plan for this year? Early in the year, you made beautiful plans and resolutions to pursue certain things. Which one have you achieved? Which one is ongoing? And which one is still waiting for your action? You have already spent some days and months in the year and it will also be good for you to check that plan and rejig it. You might be facing life’s challenges because you are not focusing on God’s plan as given to you when you went for a retreat early in the year. You are 100% responsible for whatever you are going through now. Do not just pray alone, do something about it, there is a place of effort and there is a place of grace. Do something about your life.

Early in the year, I wrote about certain things you need to do as you proceed in the year and I will share some things to remind you of what you left undone and what you need to really improve upon. I said, 1. Mind who you are. You must know who you are, your capacity, and your personality. It is impossible to look down on yourself and expect the world to look up to you. Therefore, have you discovered yourself? 2. I said, you need God, and if you want to have a successful journey in the year, mind God. Be careful to not run this year race without God (Eccl. 12). 3. I said, have Jesus. Without Jesus, it is impossible to have access to God. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me - John 14:6. 4. Let Holy Spirit guides you. To break record this year, desire to have the Holy Spirit. Let Him teach you all things. The world you are in is world of power and might and to overcome it, you need Holy Spirit. 5. You need the Word of God. The Word is a superior being, a personality which you must have. Never joke with the rule Book of the Word. All that you need for the journey is written therein. Study and meditate therein, then you will have good success. Therefore, before you complain about anything, do you have God; have you giving your life to God? How many hours do spend in God’s Word and do you have relationship with the Holy Spirit?

Before you claim that God did not answer your prayers, have you done what you need to do? If you have done all the aforementioned, by now, you would have seen God’s hands in what you do and have great expectation that He is about doing something. And if you have all those and yet still troubled, believe that things will work in your favour. Do not relent in serving God, He will never fail and He will reward you accordingly. Therefore, you can still go back to the plan you have in the year and focus on it, don’t be discouraged and never allow any man to talk you out of it. The remaining days in the year will favour you and yours.
