TOPIC: BE REMINDED
TEXT: PSALM 139:1-16

Be reminded that you are not a shadow, you are made of God; you have substance and you matter a lot. The reason why the world seems unbalanced is because you are yet to come to the equation. You are created for a purpose and be reminded that God who determines your reins is still God today and His plan will come to pass in your life. Environment is never a limitation to God when He is ready to turn around people’s situations or circumstances. He brought David from the wilderness where he was shepherding the flocks of his father, none of his family members were able to sit until he was honoured. Moses was chosen when he was at the back side of the desert to lead God’s people. Be reminded beloved, that the real you will happen.

When things are not happening in our favour, we tend thinking about enemies in parents’ household. We then, begin to think about sins we have committed long ago that God had already blotted out of His Book. We have a propensity to think about something that happen when we were young, beloved, God does not think the way men think. His thoughts are higher than your thoughts. He will fulfill all that He has promised. Just be reminded that you are not the one that wrote the Bible, you met the Word and you believe in Him, He will never put you to shame. Joseph was a forgotten fellow; he was sold into slavery, lied against, imprisoned for years and his enemies asked how his dreams would come to pass. But it did happen and all enemies surely bowed down at his feet, he fed them.

I have longed to travel out of the country for several years, tried on many occasions without success, someone closed even promised but deceived and people around me said there is no hope for me anymore. Among my contemporaries then, I was the one that first had the idea of going abroad, but many people left and my dream was still a dream. This did not even stop me to help and sponsor many people abroad who never remembered me till date, but one day, he did happen and I travelled out of the country, bought my flight ticket, took bus to Lagos and flew out of the country and have since travelled out of the country on scholarships on many occasions and have helped enough other people thereafter. The essence of this story is, whatever you are not up to today, you will be more than tomorrow, if you do not faint, if you will continue to make God your God and you will keep trying, you will surely recover all. My story today is far better than my sorry state then.

The entire plan about you is in the hands of God, eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what God want to do for you. You may not even look it, but it will surely happen. Abraham received his own, likewise Joseph, Hannah was not forgotten, Sarah received her Isaac, Hannah received her Samuel, and Job received his double blessings and the Israelites left Egypt after hundreds of years. I have no doubt that you will sing for joy this day.
