AGAIN, JESUS IS MISSING
Every life needs Jesus and when you find Him you must jealously guard and protect Him. Your physical life is just like a television screen which display what is being projected, therefore man spend much of his life in the spirit, the physical life is just the outcome. Christ is also a Spirit-being and if you live more in the flesh (display screen), Christ may have left unknown to you, your subscription might have expired, and you are only watching free channels.
It does not matter whether you have been or dine with Jesus for long, one day of Him missing in your life can lead to years of crisis. It does not matter whether you are a pope, a bishop, an apostle, a prophet, a pastor or whatever, if Jesus is missing in your life, your ministry is just a shadow and disaster waiting to happen. For just three days, there was no Jesus in the life of the disciples, they began to misbehave, people knew them to be Jesus’ disciples but Heaven no longer recognized them as His.
It was not yet three days that Jesus died, Peter told other disciples, “I go a fishing”. Peter, the One who called you said to you at this same location three years ago, “I will make you a fisher of men” (Luke 5:1-11), but today you are no longer with Jesus, upon all the heaven’s investment upon your life. You are a disgrace! Peter, by this same river you left two ships full of great fishes because of Jesus, you confessed your sins and forsook all for Christ sake; but just few days that I (Jesus) was not with you, you have turned to fisher of fish. You have gone back to your vomit. You are the Peter Heaven is talking about this day.
Peter never knew Jesus was no longer with him. He thought he can still perform the same miracle, he went out without Jesus, and caught great multitude of nothing (with all the skills and experience in fishing). As at this time, Peter and the rest of the disciples were already a failure, they started with Jesus but ending up without Him if not for the mercies of God. The greatest surprise was when Jesus stood at the shore, none of them recognized Him, just few days away, and they no longer recognized Him, even Peter was naked as at this time (John 21:7). It was his junior that pointed Jesus is Lord unto him. What a shame!
Why are you forsaken Jesus? Is it because of tribulation, trial or persecution? These are not enough reasons to forsake your Lord and Saviour, ask Him to come back to your life now. Having Jesus in one’s life solidly is the greatest achievement and the ultimate in life. Your position in the church, appearing in rehearsals and handling microphone on Sunday or during the week services can never conferred on you Jesus. You are just like the disciples who had been with Jesus but never have the Person of Jesus. Jesus is the foundation upon which every activity in the church stands, if He is missing, you are like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great (Luke 6:49). Jesus is calling you now you did not accept, one day, it is somebody junior to you that will preach the same message that you do not want to hear now, by then you will accept with a bitter cry. Let’s go back to Jesus; He is the Lord standing at the shore of your destiny. Have a wonderful day!
