22 WAYS TO DEFEAT DESTINY WASTERS

TEXT: GENESIS 37:1-36

In just a day, Joseph’s dream was caged, thrown into the pit and sold many times. So many things can happen to one’s destiny, it can be abandoned, stopped, exchanged, miscarried, stolen and realized. Destiny destroyers are visible in every sphere of life; they are in the families, ministries businesses, communities and churches. Destiny wasters include but not limited to (a) your mouth, (b) spirit of errors and mistakes (c) Star gazers like the wise men in the Bible, (d) your behaviours and attitudes (e) idols of your father’s house, (f) ungodly fellowship, (g) principalities, powers and rulers in the high places. (h) environment (i) wrong choices (in marriage, business, courses, etc).

With your resolved you can defeat all these powers if you are ready to the following:

1) Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour (John 1:12; 3:16); 2) Be ready to pray and fast (Matthew 17:21); 3) Be baptize with the Person, Power and Fire of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8); 4) Let your words be season with salt, do not talk anyhow (Colossians 4:6); 5) Meditate and Fellowship with the Word of God daily (Joshua 1:8); 6) Test every spirit whether they are of God (James 4:1-6); Live an holy life (1 Peter 1:15, 16); 7) Depart from iniquities and sins; 8) Be busy for God, look after the things of God (x-ray the lives of David and Jesus); 9) Get wisdom (Proverbs 4:7); 10) Be in the assignment God called you into; 11) Have faith in God (Mark 11:22); 12) Be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:5,6); 13) Stand for the truth always (Ephesians 6:14); 14) Be an ardent worshipper 15) Celebrate your victory (John 16:33, Colossians 2:14,15); 16) Be positive in your thoughts and actions (Proverbs 4:23); 17) Make giving a habit (Luke 6:38); 18) Ensure your location is where God want you to be (Genesis 12:1); 19) Take action concerning your dreams (Joshua 14:12); 20) Pray in Tongues and use the Power in the Blood of Jesus in your prayers (Mark 16:17; Act 10:46); 21) Document your victories (Exodus 17:14); 22) Fellowship with right people (2 Corinthians 6:14-18).
