WHY YOU ARE NOT SEEING POSSIBILITIES?
Many people says, but I believe, I pray, I do not commit sin and I pay my tithe in addition to serving in one department or the other in my church and yet, things seem difficult. Is the Bible lying? Why am I not getting answer to all my prayers? Why things become impossible in the face of all that I have done? Beloved, the simplest answer I can give to you is, “face reality”. Church or fellowship should not take the place of work, they are not the same, and it is suicidal to be praying when you suppose to be at work and vice versa. It is equally important to note that there is time for everything; a lot of people want to skip a season of life.
It is impossible for you not to go to school and expects to become a principal of a school. With God, this is possible though, but depends on what he wanted to do and for what purpose. Jesus must pass through Jericho. There are processes to achieving purposes. It is possible for Jesus not to die and God still takes away the sins of the whole world, God can! But the reality is, God is God of principles and promise. Is it possible for a woman to give birth? Yes! Is it possible for a woman who had not given birth to a child for many years to give birth? Yes! But is it possible for a woman to get pregnant and give birth to a child within one month? The answer is no! Not that God cannot do it, but He will never break His principles. There is time for everything, so wait for your time.
Another is, you cannot use religion to cover your irresponsibility. You have a responsibility to yourself, to God and to the nation, and failure to carry out your responsibilities in time will result into having too many problems to handle in the nearest future. Religiosity is not spirituality. Today, many people are busy in the church doing nothing. They do not even allow those that God called to do their jobs, everybody want to become a pastor, forgetting that we are all called as evangelists not as pastors. So stay in your assignment if you want to experience possibilities. Never be busy in another man’s assignment and expect possibilities, be in yours no matter how difficult. Don’t be in haste to see result, wait for it while working out and preparing yourself towards what God is about to do in your life.
God is a Sovereign God, He does whatever He pleases, and doing the impossible is His department, so it is only God that can do it. You might pray, do all that require, yet nothing happen. Just live it there to God, He will do it at His own time. Strongly, impossibility takes time and it’s like planting a seed, you will reap if you faint not. You might have also tried all that we have discussed and not see possibility, God may keep it for you in the future. You might wake up one day and something that you did not pray for happen, it may be a seed you have sown in the past. What I will urge you to do is, whenever you have done your own part and expecting impossibility to happen, relax and leave it for God.
