THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME (2)

Healing the Brokenhearted

Jesus’ mission also included healing the brokenhearted. This speaks to the deep emotional and spiritual wounds that many people carry. Whether it’s the pain of loss, rejection, betrayal, or failure, Jesus came to bring healing to those who are hurting.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to be agents of healing in the lives of others. When we walk in the Spirit, we carry the love and compassion of Christ, ministering to those who are broken and pointing them to the One who can restore their hearts.

Deliverance to the Captives

Jesus also came to proclaim deliverance to the captives. This includes not only physical freedom for those who are imprisoned but spiritual freedom for those who are enslaved by sin, addiction, fear, and the lies of the enemy.

The power of the Holy Spirit breaks every chain. As believers, we are called to bring this message of deliverance to those who are bound, offering them the freedom that is found in Christ alone.
