The Power That Worketh in Us

The Power That Worketh in Us

The power that worketh in us is the unlimited, resurrection power of God made available through the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3:20). This divine power enables us to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. It is not limited by human capacity or understanding but flows directly from the throne of grace. This power transforms us from the inside out, equipping us to live victoriously and fulfill God’s purposes in our lives.

Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:16-19 reveals the depth of this power. It strengthens our inner being, grounds us in love, and fills us with the fullness of God. This power is the same that raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 8:11), now at work in us to accomplish God’s will. It gives us the ability to overcome sin, walk in righteousness, and manifest the fruit of the Spirit. It assures us that we are not powerless but empowered to live as more than conquerors through Christ.

To access this power, we must cultivate an abiding relationship with Christ through faith. Obedience, prayer, and a life surrendered to the Spirit are keys to experiencing its fullness. The power that works in us is not for selfish gain but to glorify God and advance His kingdom. As we yield to Him, we become vessels of His power, bringing hope, healing, and transformation to the world around us.

Word Affirmation: “Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.” (Psalm 40:16, KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“The power that worketh in us is the limitless force of the Holy Spirit, accomplishing God’s will through us.”
