The Mystery of Christ

The Mystery of Christ

The mystery of Christ, hidden for ages and generations, is now revealed to His saints (Colossians 1:26-27). This mystery is Christ in us, the hope of glory. It signifies the unsearchable riches of His grace and the profound unity of Jew and Gentile in the body of Christ. The mystery is not about concealment but divine timing, unfolding God's redemptive plan through Christ. It declares that salvation is accessible to all who believe, breaking down barriers and making us one in Him.

The Apostle Paul describes this mystery as the eternal purpose of God accomplished in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 3:9-11). This revelation was entrusted to the church to proclaim to the world. The mystery encompasses the incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It is through this lens that we understand God’s ultimate plan: to reconcile all things to Himself through Christ. This eternal truth transforms lives, giving purpose, identity, and hope to those who embrace it.

As stewards of this mystery, we are called to live lives that reflect its power and beauty. This involves declaring Christ boldly, walking in unity, and demonstrating His love to the world. The mystery of Christ is the cornerstone of our faith, encouraging us to stand firm in the assurance that God’s plan is perfect and His promises are sure. In every season, this mystery fuels our worship and compels us to share the good news of His salvation.

Word Affirmation: “Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil..” (Psalm 40:14, KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“The mystery of Christ is the unveiling of God’s glory within us, a treasure beyond measure.”
