TEXT: EPHESIANS 6:10-17

The Bible made us to understand that God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind, but the outbreaks of COVID-19 or whatever name given to it has made many including Christians to dissolve and melt away like ice. Different reports from social media and other sources reveal that more than 341,000 have contacted the virus worldwide, as of today there are 14,753 deaths resulting from this virus, 99,041 recovered so far and 227,902 people are currently infected worldwide. As a child of God, there is no need to panic. In addition to whatever precautionary measures being put in place by government, there is need for you to take your stand in God. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in high places and so you must stand up to send the virus and its agents back to the pit of hell where it came from. It does not matter whether it is man-made or something else, there is no need to be afraid, you have the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God to defeat this satanic sponsored disease. Declare to your nation, decree to the world, make an order over your life and establish God’s presence over your family. Coronavirus has no power over anyone, you and I can put a stop to it, the plague can be stayed by the Word of God in your mouth and by the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary. This is the time that we will know whether there is a God who rules in the affairs of men or not.
You and I need to rise and pray, not just for God’s mercies but for His intervention while standing on His words as our weapons. Church buildings may be closed down but the real Church is NOT. You are the Church and I am the Church, so speak the Word. The Church prayed for Apostle Peter, he was released from the prison and Paul and Silas prayed inside the prison, freedom came. You have the Keys to God’s Kingdom, whatever you bind on earth, shall be bound in Heaven. Heaven is waiting for your command. How far will this virus go depend on how we permitted it in our nation. Don’t let anybody deceive you; let government and scientists be doing what they know best. What you know is God and we must rely on Him and take a stand in Him with our faith intact. If the people of God can humble themselves and pray, God will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14). You can stop this plague, I can stop it too but it requires our praying and faith in God. This is not the time to speak about the virus, it is the time to celebrate the faithfulness and the power of God. Our God reigns over all the earth. With Him, we can defeat this monster called, COVID-19.
No matter what human beings are doing to destroy the works of God, it cannot stand and it will not stand. Only believe and act in faith and you shall see the glory of God. What this plaque need is just for a man to stand in the gap and declare the Word of God against it. I am confident that this plaque shall not touch you and your families, only be in God and obey His command.
At this time, take up the full armor of God so that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Take unto you the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Girt your loins with the truth and make righteousness your breastplate and be ready to spread the gospel of peace; and above all, take the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. This is not the time to spread negative news; it is the time to speak the Word. The plaque is over. I declare no plaque shall come near your dwelling. Remember, take a stand.
