SENT TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED (2)

The Compassion of Jesus

One of the most remarkable aspects of Jesus’ ministry is His compassion for the brokenhearted. Time and again, we see Jesus moved with compassion when He encountered people who were hurting. In Matthew 9:36, we read, “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”

Jesus’ compassion was not just a feeling; it moved Him to action. He reached out to the brokenhearted, offering them healing and restoration. His love and kindness were a balm for their wounded souls.

Healing for Today’s Brokenhearted

Just as Jesus healed the brokenhearted during His time on earth, He continues to heal broken hearts today. The same Jesus who walked the dusty roads of Galilee is still at work in the lives of people who are hurting. No wound is too deep for His healing touch.

Sometimes the healing process is instantaneous, and other times it is gradual. But in every case, Jesus is faithful to bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted. He invites us to bring our pain, our disappointments, and our sorrows to Him. He is the great physician who specializes in the healing of hearts.

Word Affirmation: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. " – Isaiah 41:10 (KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

"Jesus is the healer of the brokenhearted, binding up every wound and offering hope and restoration."
