REMEMBER ME FOR GOOD

REMEMBER ME FOR GOOD

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Life is full of ups and downs, no matter how careful you are, challenges will show up one way or the other. No matter what you do challenges will show it ugly head but one thing is sure, as a child of God, God is there in that situation. Challenges do not respect title or your faithfulness in God, it has audacity and can visit any man, but Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Tribulation in this world of ours is a necessity. Whenever we find ourselves in unpalatable situation, a kind of situation that look as if there is no way out, hang on there, God will show up for you.

You are not forgotten. The day the king remembered Mordecai, he Mordecai did not dream of it and it was just like every other day. God keeps a record of all our deeds; He will never forget your labour of love. He said, I am not saying the house of Jacob should seek me in vain. God remembered Noah after the floor, He remembered Abraham and never forgotten Joseph, He lifted Joseph up and out of dungeon. Nehemiah cried to the Lord for remembrance (Nehemiah 13:14, 22, 31), God did. He also remembered Rachael and she conceived. No matter what life throws at you, know that God will remember you for good.

The time you are spending in that situation, God will restore unto you. He will restore what the locust has eaten and your floor shall be full of wheat and your barns with fat and oil. A nursing mother may forget her child, but God said, “I will never forget you.” Therefore, hold on to God and be a member of His family. The word, ‘remember’ is a two words joined together, “re” and “member”. The word, ‘re’ mean again and member mean, a person belonging to a particular group. Therefore, do you belong to God? Or are you part of His family, the family of Christ? If you are not born again it is impossible for God to remember you. He will come again for members of His family. If you are a member of God’s family, then be rest assured that He will remember you. May God remember you today for good (Amen).

Finally, if you want God to remember you for good, be good to others. Show a little bit of kindness, it does not matter what you do. Be an encouragement to others and in due season, you will receive your reward.

Word Affirmation: “And for the wood offering, at times appointed, and for the firstfruits. Remember me, O my God, for good." - Nehemiah 13:31 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“God will not make a full end of His mercies.”
