NEVER LISTEN TO THEM
Recently, somebody forwarded a video to me which I later saw on some people’s wall on social media, it was a video of a man condemning the rot in the Christendom, the guy was making valid points though and his views 100% genuine. But the surprising thing is, the people who forwarded the video to me has been the one telling me for years now, church is a scam, pastors are rogues, tithe is not to be paid, there is no God, there is nothing like heaven, hell; Bible is written to confuse us, you must just feel good on earth, etc. Never listen to such men, they are out there. They are wolves in sheep clothing!
Coming to God is by faith and never permit anyone to discourage you from serving Him. Since you have been going to God in prayers and attendance in church, has God ever complained to you that He is tired of you coming to Him? Never! But just a day of seeking help from these uncles, brothers, friends or whosoever they are, they are tired of you coming to them. They have nothing to offer, they are candidates of hell looking for whom to join the numbers. Joshua said, “…but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15). Choose who you will serve today and never waiver. They are going nowhere!
The rulers, elders, scribes and priests threatened Peter and John not to preach in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth again having saw the miracle performed and about 5000 souls turning to Christ, but with boldness Peter and John declared and said unto them whether it is right to listen to them more or unto God - Act 4:19, 20. You will be surprised to see the kind of people that bring the words of discouragement or water down the Word of God that you receive with power. Never listen to them, they are out there. They have power, money, influence and fame. Some want your body before they can give you money, some do want you to join their secret society before they help you, all what they want to achieve is to take away Jesus from you. Know whom you believe. This world is not your home. Jesus said, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” - Mark 8:36.
Remember, the Devil pressurized Jesus to bow unto him, he lost it in Jesus. So don’t handover the victory to him. Are they enticing you with what to eat? Let them know, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone”. Do they question your belief? Tell them, “It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” Peradventure they continue to pestering your life, rebuke them and say, “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” You got God’s back. They will surely leave you alone. Have a victorious day!
