LIVING IN THE SUPERNATURAL (2)
READ ALSO 2 KINGS 6:8-23: Whatever the king of Syria used the night to plan; Elisha used the day to reveal to the king of Israel. All what you need to defeat your enemies is to be alive in the Spirit, when you know the secret of the enemy, the battle is won. You can save yourself from unnecessary prayer points if you are alive in God. The king of Syria was frustrated, his plan against the Israelites never materialized, not once, not twice and at a time he had to voice out, he thought there was a mole in his camp. No! One of his servants said. The mole you have in the camp is far outside the camp, it was Prophet Elisha who revealed all your plans to the king and armies of Israel. Come to think of it, Elisha was in his own country miles away from the king’s chamber yet he knew the plan of the king. You will do yourself a lot of good if you invest your time to have access into the supernatural and live therein. Spirit life pays!
The king of Syria thereafter sent great number of armies, chariots and horses to arrest Elisha, the king of Syria was not afraid that the man who could reveal what he thinks in his heart can be arrested by soldiers. You cannot tame a man who lives his life in the Spirit, because as many that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:14). When the Syrian army came, Elisha’s servant was sore afraid when he saw the multitudes of army, he exclaimed, “My master, how shall we escape”. Elisha was not moved by the laid in siege of the Syrian army but his servant was not only moved, but was good as dead. In order to ease his tension, Elisha asked the Lord to just show his servant a glimpse of the life in the Spirit. The servant was surprised to see the Heavenly army that battle ready and for Elisha. If your eyes are open to see the legion of angels attending to you, you will be surprised and truly, your angels are beside you, just ask God to let you see.
Beloved, one will be troubled with the tribulations and evil happening in the world today if s/he does not have access to the supernatural. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world”. You will save yourself from a lot of troubles if you have access to the things of the Spirit. Elisha was a man of God, but are you a child of God? He was always in the Spirit and thinking about the things of the Spirit, but are you? Ordinary dream has put a lot of God’s children in bondage because they do not live in the supernatural, many people run away from their enemies because they do not have access to the things of the Spirit. You can live differently if you start relocating from life in the flesh to life in the Spirit.
Elijah did not just defeat his own enemies; he tamed, blindfolded and fed them food of shame because he was a man of the supernatural. The first step to living in the supernatural is to be born again (give your life to Jesus Christ), the second to be baptized by water immersion, the third is to be baptized by the Holy Spirit, the fourth is studying the Word of God daily, the fifth is holiness, sixth is to be prayerful, seventh is to trust absolutely in God and eighth is to do 1 to 7 steps. You will never be moved and troubled, for secret things belong to God and He is ever ready to reveal to His beloved. You too can live the life that Elisha lived; you can also be like Daniel and Joseph who interpreted forgotten dreams of another man. Stop cheating yourself.
