LIVING IN ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES (6)
Let’s consider the sixth, seventh and eighth letters in the word, Possi-BIL-ity.
B in this word stands for BELIEVE: All things are possible to those who believe. The question is, what and who do you believe? Do you believe you can make impossibility possible? Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. The problem with us as believers is, many of us believe in God that He can do those things, but many do not believe in their own ability to do their part to bring the possibility to pass. When you look at yourself, what do you see, a giant or a grasshopper? The Angel called unto Gideon, “Thou mighty man of valour.” Gideon responded by explaining his circumstances. The Angel of the Lord said unto him again, “Go in this thy might.” He said, “Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.” The point is Gideon recognized God, but never believed in His ability to save his people. The greatest instrument of possibility is absolute faith in God and your ability to take the bold step that He want you to take. If you are yet to experience God, do check your belief system. Is anything wrong? Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Impossibility will become possible when you act in faith and believe that everything is yours.
I – INFORMATION: Awareness precedes involvement and action. You need superior information; maybe you may call it revelation too. Revelation is divine information. When Jacob was struggling in Laban’s house after the later had changed his wages many times, he received divine instructions (information) on how to deliver himself from such bondage. If you have access to information, you will be ahead of others. If you lack access to vital information, one will stay long in a disadvantaged position. It was not that the Israelites could not leave Egypt when it was the 400th year, but because they lack information and were kept back in bondage. The first instruction to Moses is to go and meet the Israelites to discuss their freedom. Information is power and if you lack it you are powerless, you need information in time to take rightful steps. Most of the situations will term impossible may be due to lack of information. If you have right information, you will live a life of possibility.
L – LOCATION: Location or environment can hinder or make possibilities. Your environment may be a land of possibilities or impossibilities depends on what you want to do or become. If you live among or around negative people never think you will achieve the impossible. Any steps you take it will look as if you are in a competition with them. The people who throw you down or do not believe in your person has already placed a limit on your life, such will frustrate your goals or plans and their attitudes may injure your person and thinking capabilities. Abraham will never become a father of many nations if he continued to live in Haran; God had to ask him to go to Canaan. Even though, Daniel and friends circumstance was unpalatable, living in Babylon gave them opportunity to be their best. Where or who you live with determines how far you can go in life. Who are your friends? Who is in your association?
