TEXT: JOHN 1:45-49
MEMORY VERSE: “Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!” – John 1:47

Philip, one of the Disciples of Jesus found Nathanael, and told him, we have found Him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, “Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.” What has happened to Nazareth that Nathanael wrote it off like that? The land and her people must have been leaving contrary to God’s Word, but Philip said in this same land, we have found a Man we can rely on, the One that we can place our lives on, the Man of truth.

When Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, He was so proud and excited, Jesus said concerning Nathanael, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! You mean Nathanael was a true “Israelite” – not cunning; no craftiness in him? What a recommendation! Jesus testified about the person of Nathanael, can anyone around testify about you like this? Between Malachi and Matthew, there was a 400 year of silence; God did not speak with anyman. So how did Nathanael developed himself to the point that even Jesus, the Messiah could say, here is a true Israelite in whom there is no guile (John 1:45-48). Can heaven called you a true and faithful Christian?

Many Christians have heard different messages many times, attended revival hours on countless occasions, bible studies many times, have different versions of the Bible and had read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation; yet Jesus cannot boldly say, here is a (wo)man in whom there is no guile. Such a life is a disappointment. If after all of these heavens could not recognize you as a child of God; you are not fit for the Kingdom. You need to change; God and the Heavens suppose to be happy that righteous men are on earth and not to be sad. God could not find just ten righteous men in the entire Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities were destroyed with fire.

Beloved, never think you are going to make heaven with this negative lifestyle of yours, frankly, no sinner, unrighteous person is going to hell, because hell itself will not make it on the last day (Revelation 20:14). If you fail to repent, lake of fire is the destination, but I urge you to go back to God, renew your mind and become what He want you to be.

Word Affirmation: "And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people." - Genesis 28:3 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“If there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
