GOD'S WORD AND HIS WAY (3)

GOD'S WORD AND HIS WAY (3)

How can we ensure that God's Word truly becomes a lamp and a light in our lives?

1. Daily Scripture Reading: Make it a habit to read the Bible every day. Whether it’s a few verses, a chapter, or a devotional, immersing yourself in God’s Word will keep you spiritually nourished and alert to His guidance.

2. Meditation and Reflection: Don’t just read the Word; meditate on it. Reflect on how it applies to your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where you need to align with God’s truth.

3. Scripture Memorisation: Like the Psalmist who hid God’s Word in his heart, memorising Scripture can be a powerful way to internalise God’s truth. This ensures that even in moments of weakness or challenge, you have the Word ready to guide you.

4. Obedience to the Word: Apply what you learn. Obedience is key to experiencing the fullness of God’s blessing. The more you live out the Word, the more you will see its transforming power at work in your life.

God’s Word is not just a set of ancient texts, but a living guide for today. It illuminates our path, showing us how to live in a way that honours God and brings us peace and joy. As we commit ourselves to walking in His way, we can trust that His Word will lead us to the ultimate destination: eternal life with Him.

Word Affirmation: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4 (KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“God’s Word illuminates the path of righteousness and leads us into His perfect will. "
