PROBLEM SOLVING NOT BY PRAYING ALONE
PROBLEM SOLVING NOT BY PRAYING ALONE
While prayer is vital, God often calls us to accompany our prayers with action. James 2 teaches us that faith without works is incomplete. Prayer invites God into our situations, but our obedience to His instruction often unlocks the solution.
Consider Nehemiah. He prayed for Jerusalem’s broken walls but also took actionable steps to rebuild them (Nehemiah 1–2). Similarly, when Jesus fed the 5,000, He involved His disciples, instructing them to organise the crowd and distribute the food (Matthew 14:19).
Prayer aligns us with God’s will, but He frequently asks us to step out in faith, whether by making a decision, seeking godly counsel, or taking practical steps toward the solution. Trust God in prayer, but also act when He calls you to move.
Word Affirmation: “They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” (Isaiah 40:31) (Don't just say it, mean it!)
“Prayer fuels the soul; action demonstrates faith in motion.”
