LIFE BEYOND THE AVERAGE (3)
The list of the habits we formed is endless and contagious, it is not the prayer points we do not say that’s our challenge, it is the habits we exhibit that hinder our prayers. God always ready to do greater and glorious things for His people, but will His people yield unto Him? To stop living a life of average stop also the following in addition to the ones mentioned yesterday:
11. Never travel outside of your environment. I’m okay with life here, they said overseas is tough if you don’t have paper. What will I go to do elsewhere I am better off here if there is money? You will soon blame yourself and curse everything around you if this is your thought. The COVID-19 pandemic is a great teacher to those who will not want to leave a life of average. 12. Think constantly about starting a book or business but never do. I know that if I wanted to, I could. I get billion naira ideas all the time. I just don't want the stress of actually pursuing it. 13. Complain about everything. I make sure all my relationships are based on gossip, drama and complaining. This negativity makes me feel good in a very terrible way. Continue on this trend.
14. Try to please everyone. Maybe if this person approves of me, my life will be better! Even Jesus the Righteous One was crucified. Who are you? Anybody praising you today is because of one benefit or the other that’s enjoying. You better live your normal life. 15. Have an excuse for everything. It's not my fault. Everyone knows that. Okay, whose fault. Hear this, everyone of us shall give account of himself to the Lord. Your parents, pastors, uncles or whoever will be there on the judgment day but no one will be your advocate. This life of yours is 100% your responsibility.
16. Rely on alcohol for confidence. Let's make sure we enjoy our lives, we are young. Our parents did the same, no one who doesn’t have a past. Well done, Mr. Pastor, be there to remember our pasts. See that hot girl over there? Let's get a shot first. She’s beautiful, let me try my luck. Go, Mr. Handsome, your destiny will be locked forever. 17. Stay in your comfort zone. Never switch over to your effort zone where your destiny is waiting for you. Don’t worry, somebody will come and handover a comfortable life to you.
18. Wear clothes with stains. These stains? No-one notices. You will be addressed the way you dress. Nobody will be ready to associate with you. 19. Go to school to study the course you don't care about. That’s what my parents want and I want to please them. Well done, Mr. Pleaser. You will soon live in your unpleasant ecstasy. 20. Scared of having attention drawn on you. I'll just go about my day. Never raise my hand. Never give my opinion. Never face a situation where I could be rejected. 21. Never stretch your body. These joints that always crack? It's hereditary. Nothing to do about it, forgetting that bodily exercise profited at least little.
Word Affirmation: "Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee." - Psalm 84:4 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
“The COVID-19 pandemic is a great teacher to those who will not want to leave a life of average."
