ENCOUNTER DIVINE ACCELERATION AND UNYIELDING PROGRESS: MOVING AT GOD’S SPEED

When God intervenes, He can accelerate progress beyond human limitations. Divine acceleration is about God making things happen in His perfect timing, often much faster than we expect. This acceleration isn’t about rushing but about aligning with God’s timing so we can accomplish His purposes without delay. When God brings unyielding progress, He propels us forward, making things possible that once seemed out of reach.

Isaiah 60 speaks of God’s promise to bring swift transformation to His people. The verse tells us that God Himself will “hasten” His plan at the appointed time. Divine acceleration is not something we force, but something we experience when we are walking in God’s will and trusting in His timing.

The story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:26–40 illustrates divine acceleration. Philip was sent by the Spirit to meet the Ethiopian official on the road. After Philip shared the Gospel and baptised him, the Spirit of the Lord took him away to another place, enabling him to cover a large distance in a brief moment. This moment of divine acceleration shows how God can make things happen quickly when we are walking in obedience to His call.

Psalm 126 reflects on God’s restoration, which brought great joy and transformation to His people. In Psalm 126:1, it says, “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.” This psalm reveals that God’s intervention can change circumstances in an instant, transforming what was once a struggle into a source of joy.

In moments when we feel stagnant or slow-moving, we can trust God to bring divine acceleration if it aligns with His will. Divine acceleration can manifest in various forms—a breakthrough in a stagnant situation, sudden clarity, or an unexpected opportunity. Our part is to stay faithful, ready, and open to His leading. By surrendering to God’s timing and trusting in His power, we allow Him to move in His way.

Word Affirmation: “He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.” – Psalm 18:19 (KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

"When God brings divine acceleration, He enables us to accomplish in moments what might have taken years."
