WHERE THERE IS NO VISION

Waiting upon God is necessary in order to see Him. Vision is important in life and everyone of us need vision to survive. The Bible says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish – Proverbs 29:18. To get vision from God is to have God speak to us His mind, we must wait at His feet, we can't be moving from one place to another and expect God to speak to us in our confusion. There is power in what we see, in fact there is this usual saying, a picture is worth more than a thousand words, absolutely, what you see has a greater influence on your life. So basically you cannot see more than you conceived and you cannot experience more than what you see. In other words the world around you may look hopeless but if you still see hope, you will have greater opportunities and joy. Vision comes from what we do, from what we have, and from having a mind to achieve something.

Let's consider Habakkuk 2:1, “The man was not looking at his own personal vision to God, not at all, he was actually expecting revelation from God, what God has in store for him. And if you look at it when the answer came from God the Bible says, “And the Lord answer me and said, write the vision make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Vision is for an appointed time, it needs time to come to pass, so as an individual, as Believers, we must hold on to the vision that we saw, what is driving you, what is driving me, something must be driving you and I. In today's world, you must see something, and ensure it comes from God, the vision is yet for an appointed time, and it shall speak and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come to pass, it will not tarry.

So we might think that the vision is tarry, it will surely come at the time, so wait for it and ensure that you saw God, this is very important and necessary because vision of God transformed Gideon from a coward to the mighty man of Valor, therefore, the vision of God will bring transformation, not hard life. The vision of Christ on several occasion transformed the life of Thomas, vision of Christ changed the life of Martha, change the lives of Mary, and the likes of Peter, James and John. Toiled throughout the night, when Jesus came Peter sat down at the feet of Jesus, listening to what Jesus would say to him so that he would be able to know what to answer and when Jesus finished His ministration, he told Peter launch to the deep, Peter said look we have toiled throughout the night, this is not the best time to do fish but at the Word, I would throw it to the right side that you want me to throw the net to, which means that side is not the right place but because of your word I will draw the net to the right side and when he did, Peter caught great multitude of fishes.

So desire this day to have the vision of God, David Livingstone saw God and left all to follow Him through the jungles of dark Africa. Where are you going to? Let assume you are going to UK from Paris or from Nigeria and then you board any aircraft, you must be sure of where you are going. You must make your plans right before you make the trip. People have seen God over the times, over the years they've benefited from God, we can see it in the pages of the Bible. Joseph saw dreams and he eventually became a prime minister. You can't see less of yourself and be more in life, no! I can't see more of myself and be less in life. What you see in life is equivalent to what you enjoy. You need to have a vision of God, We have used to God, which is extremely affecting us, He now look meaningless. You cannot reduce God to your location and expect to go far. You must also have a vision of Heaven, so if you have not seen heaven you will not pant after it. If you have not seen the place if you have not read through the pages of the Bible to know what is heaven look like, what is my final home look like then you will not be long, none of us will panteth after it. What vision do you have?
