RELATIONSHIP BEYOND THINGS
Relationship is a great investment and very tasking if indeed one will like to profit from it. Jonathan, King Saul’s beloved son and heir to the throne loved David, the son of nobody to his own detriment. After the victory, the Bible says his soul was knitted with that of David. Jonathan never mind what would become of him thereafter, he loved David unto death. David and Jonathan were not looking for what to gain from the relationship. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle. Jonathan gave himself away to David, that’s one of the characteristics of a good friend.
However, in today’s world, relationship is now for sale. Many people are in relationship because of what to gain. If it is not beneficial they are not in. No one is saying you should not set agenda for your association but any relationship that is based on what to get will not last. There are some people if they are ask from other person certain thing(s) and the other fellow refuses or say he does not have, they become cold, the relationship start dying; forgetting that one make friends by making oneself friendly. Do not take your association for granted. When you know the reason why you are in a relationship, then work towards it.. Jonathan died unexpectedly but looked out for his remnants many years after. Yes, you can access your relationship on purpose, but not because of things you did not get in the immediate.
Remember a day will come when you will need people, if you do not associate with them before you need them one may be disappointed at a later date. Relationship beyond one association is one of the common sense that guarantees uncommon success. Have a fruitful day.
