AUDACITY OF GOD’S WORD (1)

Money is a defence (Ecclesiastes 7:12) but more than money is the Word of God. He gives assurances and our entire lives depend on Him. The Word of God formed all things on earth and in heaven, but I discovered that many people are living far apart from the Word of God, not because they do not have the Bible, but because they do not have “the Word”. Many people are living their lives not as written of them. NOTE THAT I ALWAYS USE THE WORD, “HIM” FOR THE WORD OF GOD; THE TRUTH IS THE WORD OF GOD IS A PERSON.

The Word of God is potent and will accomplish what which He sent to do; He has great capacity and ability to bring to pass and enforce orders and promises of God the Father upon any individual. He has the mandate to make or align things, situations, powers, authorities, persons and institutions to work together in fulfilment of God’s plan for one’s destiny. The challenge of many believers is they do not pray the Word, in their personal study time; in collective gathering, what they do is to consult prayer physicians who dole out prayer points. Even when praying is going on in the church, many do not pray, what they busy doing is to write prayer points hence no meaningful results. If you want to see God performing wonders and miracles as of old, you must have encounter with the Word of God. It is only the Word of God that can settle you and settles that situation.

The events that happened at the death and resurrection of Christ showed that the disciples did not have the Word of God with them; they believed not and doubted the Word of God. Jesus said to them, “These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, CONCERNING ME.” The Word for the Moment for you is that all things must be fulfilled: the ones written in the Law, in the Prophets and in the Psalms, concerning YOU. The power of God’s Word will surely bring them to pass.

So do a thorough check of your life: what’s it that you are looking for or going through; when you have discovered your problem, gather enough of God’s Word from the Bible and begin to pray it into fulfilment. Remember this, I did not say you should gather bible verses, I said gathered the Word of God from the Bible. Not all written is for you. Be committed to praying the Word of God, do not be carried away by other activities and events around you, seeing to praying the Word until you see evidence, definitely your life will improve and you will see results.
