WHY MUST YOU COME TO THRESHING FLOOR?

Every man who desire to rule and reign with God must come to meet Jesus Christ the Lamb of God at His Threshing; threshing (thrashing) was originally "to tramp or stamp heavily with the feet" and was later applied to the act of separating out grain by the feet of people or oxen and still later with the use of a flail. A threshing floor is of two main types: 1) a specially flattened outdoor surface, usually circular and paved, or 2) inside a building with a smooth floor of earth, stone or wood where a farmer would thresh the grain harvest and then winnow it. Threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of grain (or other crop) from the straw to which it is attached. It is the step in grain preparation after reaping.

Every man that must be useful to God must have an encounter at the threshing floor, his life is within and his old form must be taken away by tramping and wind of God’s mercy and grace. God wrought came upon David when the later numbered the house of Israel, the Angel of God killed about 70,000 men and when the Angel got to Jerusalem God repented and stopped the Angel at the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite. There God commanded David to build an altar and sacrifice to Him. You must sacrifice your desires at the threshing of God’s floor. You must become a better person at the threshingplace.

Gideon was threshing wheat by winepress because of their enemies, winepress is different from threshing floor, though both are to bring about harvest; the Angel met Gideon there and change the course of his life. You must come to the threshing floor to be thoroughly purged, it is not enough to claim Christianity, you need to be properly sieved. John the Baptist warned the Sadducees and Pharisees and told them to not think that they have Abraham as their father, the implication is, they should not think they are in faith and do not need a new life. They should bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance because someone mightier and greater is coming with the Holy Ghost, and with fire who will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:6-12).

Many people like to eat bread but do you know there was nothing casual about a loaf of bread. It takes a process, from the planting of the seed to tilling the ground, to harvest time, transporting to threshing floor, grounding of the grain, to baking the bread. Between the planting of the seeds and the making of the bread was a crucial procedure: the grain needed to be threshed, the wheat needs to be separated from the chaff before one can make the flour that one need for the bread. To become a finished product desired by all, you must go through this process too. You might be a good seed but if not processed, it had little or no value.

Word Affirmation: “Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff." – Isaiah 41:15 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“ To become a finished product desired by all, you must go through this process too. "
