WHOSE ADVISE DO YOU PAY ATTENTION TO?

Because we have government to blame for our irresponsibility does not mean they are the major culprit when it comes to fulfilment in life. Many people fate or situation resulted in the advise they listened to several years before their woes, therefore, whose advise do you listen to.

When you are in the presence of your adviser, pay close attention to this; is he speaking from inspiration, experience, and ignorance or out of envy. Most of the times, majority of the people tends to listen and go by the last two because of lack of discernment and lack of right information. May you never listen to fools. Job afflictions came like that of many today, he lost everything in one single day and the first person that came was his wife, thank goodness he did not listen to the woman, because the woman was speaking out of ignorance. The next persons were his friends, they all spoken out of ignorance and envy, even though they came to consoled Job, they at some point derayed but at this time, Job fell for it and spoke against God in his response to them

Absalom lost the throne because he listened to Ahitophel, the latter spoke out of envy, his advise cost Absalom the throne and his life. The kingdom was divided into two during the reign of Rehoboam, he consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people? And they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants forever. But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him (1Kings 12:1-19).

When you are seeking advise, check if the person is speaking by inspiration. By inspiration, this person will not have the qualities of the last two (ignorance and envy), he may not also have experience but be inspired by the Spirit or through the Word of God. By experience, you will realize he speaks from his own life’s understanding and things s/he has passed through. By ignorance, this person may prove he knows, but only in surface if you probe further. Some friends and colleagues especially in working places, if care is not taking, mostly advise out of envy, they want such to fail so as to take his place. Beloved, whose advises are you listening, that of God or men. All the times, learn to take your matter to God; praying is not about bombarding God with prayer points, but also an avenue to ask God questions and directions. If you want to have rest in your future ensure you consult God through the Holy Spirit and in the Authority of the name of Jesus for advise and in addition to consulting inspired and experienced men at all times. You will not live the rest of your life with fools and ignorant men, but that prayer is not enough, you need to watch out.
