The Mystery of Christ in You

The Mystery of Christ in You

Throughout the ages, people have longed to understand God’s plan, how He would save the world, how He would dwell with mankind. For generations, this truth was hidden. But in Colossians 1:26 - 27, Paul announces something extraordinary: the mystery has now been revealed, not just to the prophets or the wise, but to everyday believers like you and me. And what is that mystery? “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” This is not a poetic phrase, it’s a spiritual reality. Jesus doesn’t only walk beside you or speak from heaven; He lives in you. His Spirit takes residence in your heart. You carry the presence of the risen Christ every day, everywhere you go.

This truth changes everything. It means you are never alone, even in the darkest moment. Christ’s presence within you gives you access to wisdom, peace, power, and guidance. You are not trying to live the Christian life by your own strength. You have the life of Christ operating inside you, shaping your thoughts, your responses, and your desires. When you fall, He lifts you. When you’re weak, He strengthens you. When you’re confused, He speaks gently to your spirit. This is your source of unshakeable hope, not your performance, but His presence. No matter what the world says or what your past looks like, you have glory in your future, because Jesus lives in your present.

Paul called this truth “riches of the glory.” Why? Because it's more valuable than gold or titles. To have Christ within you is to carry heaven’s treasure in your earthly vessel. It doesn’t matter where you were born, your background, or your achievements, what matters is that Jesus has made His home in your heart. This gives you dignity, direction, and destiny. So, live with boldness. Don’t shrink back in fear or shame. Let Christ shine from within you. Let His Spirit guide your thoughts and actions. The world may not understand it, but when they see your peace, your joy, and your love, they’ll witness the mystery in motion: Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Word Affirmation: (Deuteronomy 31:6, KJV) "Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." (KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

Personalise: Christ lives in me, I will not fear, for His presence is my power and peace.

“The greatest mystery revealed is not Christ around you, but Christ within you.”
