IT IS TIME FOR GOD TO STEP IN
Yes, we are created in the image of God, we are created in His likeness but in all honesty, there is little that we can do for ourselves. The only thing that we can do is to pray and look forward to what God wants to do for us. I urge you this morning to allow God to step in into your matter(s). Battle confronted the people of Judah, five kings came against them and they did not know what to do. King Jehoshaphat prayed to the Lord, there was a prophecy that the Israelites need not to fight in this battle but how do they confront five nations in battle with peace of mind?.
So the following day the army of Israel assembled, apparently to fight but the king was so sensitive that he cautioned the Israelites to allow God to do His work. Beloved, you two need to allow God to finish his work. What is it the heaven promised you? You must allow heavens to finish it works. The Bible says He that began a good work in us we surely completed it. He started a good work in Christ and He said, βIt is finished.β So will you allow God Almighty to finish His work in your life?
The army allowed God to step into their matter and they sang for joy, they were not only sing for joy, they carried spoiled for like three days. The Valley of slaughters became the valley of laughter. Do we allow God to step into our matters; all those hopeless situations will turn to great victory for us.
I came this morning to tell you to look up and straight to God. He is the author and finisher of our faith. There is nothing that you and I are looking for in God that we cannot find but let us allow Him to come in. The people of Judah did not know how the war would end, they only put their trust in God and He did not disappoint them, in as much as God did not disappoint the people of Judah God will not disappoint you. Have a strong faith, have a willing mind and be ready to wait and when God is ready to step in, allow Him. You will never be disappointed. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off - Proverbs 23:18.
Word Affirmation: β The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." - Exodus 14:14 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
β You will never be disappointed. "
