AHEAD OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS
What to do when you have an assurance of your desire? For every prayer, there is an answer always. For whatsoever you ask for in prayers, believe and you shall receive them (Mark 11:24). As a believer, you need to look beyond and ahead of your expectation, you need to walk past a junction of expectation, behaving as if you have indeed receive physically all your desires. And indeed, you have received them. Therefore, there are couples of steps you need taking to show you are indeed ahead of your expectation.
First, laugh not, doubt not. Sarah in Genesis 18 actually laughed when the Lord and the Angels visited their house, she looked at her age and dead body, concluded the food these visitors ate has made them jokers. Your eyes of faith must look beyond the result, your reaction at this present time is to behave that you have received your expectation. If you are believing God for a car, your attitude should be that you are looking for every means to learn how to drive a car, watch how people drive, check videos of how to drive a car online or play a car race game. Waiting to have a car, reminding God of the car may sound unbelief if you do not know.
Second, Hannah countenance was no longer sad; you too need such kind of attitude. Hannah prayed in the temple, the man of God almost ruined her prayers, but when he understood her way of prayers, and that she was not drunk, the man of God prophesied unto her and straightaway Hannah rose up happy, ate and praise God. She no longer sees what irritated her before, she rejoiced. She was now far ahead of her expectation though people around still see her same, to Hannah, she was no longer the same, she is now living far ahead of her expectation.
Third, act your faith. Let God know you are no longer at the place of prayer, promise and prophecy; you are now working out your faith. The Centurion told Jesus to just speak the word, Jesus wanted to follow him into his house to heal the centurion’ servant, the man said, I am a man of authority, you don’t have to do that, all what I need is to command and it will happen. He left Jesus believing, even Jesus was so marveled. You too need to act your faith. Take a step in faith, price a car of choice. Take appropriate step and rejoice. Act contrary to the situation around, this attitude will always put the devil to shame. The man who acts his faith is always right with God.
Word Affirmation: “ And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
