HAND IT OVER TO HOLY SPIRIT
Let us combine these two great Scriptures together (Romans 8:12-17 and Galatians 4:1-7) and come to the knowledge of the benefits and privileges that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have done and delivered to us all. “…For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” And “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father…”
From the Scriptures above you should realize who you are in Christ, a son (whether male or female) because you have the gene of God in your inside. Therefore, you are no longer under the bondage and laws of this world. Are there any obstacles on your way? Are there any troubles? Do you feel disappointed in any ways? Are you thinking of quitting? Is your life full of challenges? Maybe you have prayed and felt there is no answer or any hope in sight; I would say maybe you have not tried this secret: looking out for the privileges you have in God and make use of it. You see many of us think we can do things by our own power. We pray as if the power to answer prayers is in our custody. You may think that is not correct, because the Bible urge us to pray without ceasing, so I pray. That is what I am talking about. You know when somebody knows how to do a thing well, he has a sense of entitlement to think he can solve all problems and act without thinking. Oh! I know where the problem is. That’s the way many of us act when we pray, forgetting that there is a Spirit in us who can help us to pray accordingly. There is a Spirit in us crying Abba Father, there is a Spirit in us groaning and ready to take up our infirmities, heal our broken-hearted but lot of us have not handed over our matters to Him. We believe we can do it, we can pray, and then we prayed amiss and expect results where there is no target. We have forgotten there is a procedure, though the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom and we now have free access to the Father through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, there is still Somebody who knows the road more than us, He is the Holy Spirit, who can help us all the times. Can you handover your matters to Him today and allows Him to help you? There is a pattern in Heaven; Jesus came to show it, not to destroy it. Learn the pattern and be free from spirit of bondage. You have assurance of answer to prayers more when you allow the Holy Spirit to intercede on your behalf.
