CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS
Imagination is a special ability and God’s DNA in every man. We reason with our heads, think with our hearts, pray with our mouths and imagine with our eyes of heart. Imagination is the seen pictures or images; it is what you can call, “as far as you can see”. It is so powerful that nothing can stop it not to happen. It is forming a new idea or creating a new image with nothing except with our minds. It has creative power, for everything that God created, He saw. Whatever you imagine about your life or your environment as long as you give concentration and focus to it, shall surely come to pass. Nothing can stop it, not even God except it come contrary to the agenda, knowledge and will of God.
Imagination can be good or evil. Evil people does not necessary have to make incantation before they effected one with their agenda, as long as they keep forming their evil agenda against such, if care is not taking, it will surely happen hence the admonition of Apostle Paul to you this day, to cast down evil imaginations. Remember this prophecy, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper”. Think about this again. Many Christians pray with their mouths and hearts but both do not correspond with what they see (imagine). To have a quick answer to your prayers, your heart, mouth and imagination (what you see) must correspond. If you are praying for wealth, think about wealth but not forming wealth with your mind, one will be poorer than church rat. Becoming must first happen in your subconscious. There must be a constant picture in the spiritual before it happen physically.
Talking about the evil aspect of imagination, you do not know the kind of opinions your neighbours are forming against you, and you wonder why your prayers are not been answered; someone may have formed negative imagination against you. If God open your eyes to see what image people close to you forms about you, you will be surprised. Therefore, do not slack in casting down evil imaginations. No matter how good you are, any man you know have an image about you. Never thought that all the people around you mean well, I do not say you should term people as your enemies but never allow any negative imagination whether you know or not to come to pass. Rebuke it daily, remember, the weapons of your warfare are not carnal so also that of the enemies, but yours is more potent. So cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God in your life. The knowledge (thought, final say) of God concerning you is of peace, good and to give a brighter future; anything contrary to this MUST not come to pass.
In Genesis 11, God was sitting on His Throne when the world imagined building a tower reaching the Heavens. If God did not rise up in time to confuse their imaginations, the tower of Babel would be built as planned. That’s God the Almighty, He had to leave His throne without hesitation to come to see what the people were doing and since it was contrary to His command in Genesis 1:28, He countered it. You may not know, that wish you are going through may not be foundational curse, or from witches or wizards. It may be an evil imagination of someone close that is holding you bound, cast it down today. Imagination do not operate at the lower level, it operates on high, so you must do a casting down. When we pray, we are expecting God to answer but when we imagine a thing, we are using the power that the God Almighty has giving to create and enforce certain rules here on earth; and whatever we formed, stand. So what do you see? Anything contrary to good shall not come to pass in your life. You must not allow evil imaginations, cast them down.
