AUDACITY OF GOD’S WORD (3)

AUDACITY OF GOD’S WORD (3)

Look at this checklist if you think you have fasted, prayed, studied and read the word and nothing seem working in your life. You might as well look at it to double-check if the Word of God is already working for you. Remember, you may have different versions of the Bible and the Word of God is not living with you.

1) Many people do NOT recognize the voice of God and so could not understand Him when He speaks. Many have had about God and His wonders but have missed Him somewhere. God does not walk, work, think and speak the way we do; you must train yourself spiritually to know about God and the way He behaves. You must train your spiritual ears to be in tune with the voice of God. The voice you are hearing matters. There is no day that God does not speak. Has He speaks to you today? If no, then what have you been listen to?

2) Many people do NOT go in the might of God’s Word: There is one thing to be an officer, wear the uniform and there is another thing for you to operate in the authority of that office you represent. There are spirit and letter behind the Word, when the Word of God comes to you at a particular moment, there is need for you to run with the Word until He accomplish the purpose by which He is sent. For example, let says, you discover a scripture from the Bible, you might have been reading this particular verse but at this time, it is more meaningful to you, then begin to quote, pray and meditate on the Word; the Word has now come to you, never let it go, begin to behave the Word as if you are drunk.

3) Many people do NOT know the Word. Many people who quote or pray the Word do not know Him and when the Word supposed to work for them, the Word behave strangely. It is not when you need a relationship that you start one, you relate with the people that you will need before you actually need them. What is your relationship with the Bible you bought with your money? When was the last time you open it? Moreover, if you open it, did you ever pray to God to open your eyes to see His Word? Remember, the Ethiopian Eunuch was committed to reading the Bible but never found the Word until Philip came (Acts 8:26-39). Here was a man who travelled a long distance to worship in Jerusalem, he never saw the Word, and if not for God, his service would have been in vain. Going to church does not mean you will find the Word. You must make yourself available to the Word. Let the Word of God find you. When it comes to the matter of the Word, do not claim to have experience.

Word Affirmation: “For the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you." - Deuteronomy 20:4 (Don't just say it, mean it!)

“God is NOT limited to the Bible. There is no day that God does not speak."
