From Sunset to Sunrise in the Spirit

From Sunset to Sunrise in the Spirit

The disciples thought the day was over. They invited Jesus to stay as night fell. But what they didn’t realise was that the spiritual sunrise was just beginning. When Jesus breaks bread, even in the dark, light returns to the soul. That’s what happens when we invite Him to stay-we move from the end of something to the beginning of something new.

God often works in the quiet of the evening seasons in our lives-the moments when hope seems to fade. But that’s when His presence brings dawn. You might feel like your season is closing, but with Jesus, every sunset can be a setup for sunrise. His presence brings warmth, clarity, and renewed strength.

Don’t be afraid of the night seasons. Invite Him to stay. Let Him break bread with you. Let Him speak peace to your soul. You’ll find that He never leaves you in the dark. With Jesus, even endings glow with new beginnings.

Word Affirmation: (Isaiah 58:8): “Then shall thy light break forth as the morning…” (KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

"Evening with Jesus brings a sunrise to the soul."
