Divine Interruptions on Familiar Roads

Divine Interruptions on Familiar Roads

The road to Emmaus was familiar. The disciples knew every step. But what made that journey unforgettable was the divine interruption-Jesus showed up. Sometimes, we walk paths we’ve walked a hundred times, but everything changes when Jesus steps in. Divine interruptions often come in our daily routines, not in grand events.

God’s interruptions are not distractions; they’re invitations. They shift our focus from what we expect to what He wants to reveal. The disciples were just talking when Jesus joined them. No prayer meeting. No special setting. Just a walk-and then everything changed. He still moves like that today.

Be open to God interrupting your plans. Welcome Him into your routine. It’s often on the familiar roads that the most powerful encounters happen. Let your ordinary path become a sacred place because Jesus is walking with you.

Word Affirmation: (Isaiah 30:18): “Blessed are all they that wait for him.” (KJV) (Don't just say it, mean it!)

"God’s best moments often begin with holy interruptions."
